I want to do the 12 days of christmas for my 16 year old boyfriend. some ideas would be great! He has given me a $50 spending limit... so if you have any ideas for homemade things, so I can buy cool things. keep it clean!!!

How about

1.) a partridge in a pear tree. (These are free if you know how to catch one using a net)
2.) Two turtle doves (Also free, but quite rare. You might need a bigger net)
3.) Three French hens. (This could be a tricky one. How do you even know the nationality of a hen?)
4.) Four calling birds (I sure hope your boyfriend likes birds. These are faster and a bit more tricky to catch)
5.) Five golden rings (This could exceed your $50 limit, but hey, make some. Aluminium foil painted yellow for that gold effect)
6.) Six geese a-laying (Bit tricky this one. Geese get pretty angry during the egg laying season)
7.) seven swans a-swimming (I hope you can swim)
8.) Eight maids a-milking (I'm pretty sure abduction is illegal these days)
9.) nine ladies dancing (Make sure they don't kick you while you try and get them into your van. Sweet or puppies will help)
10.) ten lords a-leaping (Might not need these as your boyfriend probably isn't gay. Also, it would cost you a fortune in wrapping paper)
11.) eleven pipers piping (Does your boyfriend enjoy music? It might just be easier to make him a CD)
12.) twelve drummers drumming (Also classed as abduction. Don't forget to wrap the drums)

I hope this helps and don't forget to keep the receipt in case you need to return anything to the shop.
